Disposable diapers are the preferred option for many families—both in addition to and instead of cloth. Hybrid diapers which are partly disposable and partly reusable have also grown popular in recent years. Check out Generation Veggie’s cloth diapering page for more information on that option.
Animal-friendly families may want to consider the specific ingredients used in disposables as well as the animal testing policies of the companies that produce them. We researched well-known brand names, generic options, and several eco-friendly companies to provide a detailed list of information for your consideration. While some companies were very transparent about the materials used in their product, others were not. Please note that prices are subject to change; these examples are intended only as a guideline.
The choices we make for our children are endless. Being vegetarian or vegan adds another layer to the decision-making process but, with the proper information, we can make sure that our choices are the kindest, most ethical ones possible. Know of animal-friendly option not on this list, or curious about a brand we missed? Please contact us.
