Plant-Powered Nutrition for Your Family

Generation Veggie supports and advocates for vegan diets for pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, toddlers, young children, and teens. According to the American Dietetic Association, “Well-planned vegetarian diets [including total vegetarian or vegan diets] are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and for athletes.” We hope the information provided on GenerationVeggie.org will help you to feel confident about your decision to raise plant-powered kids, give you the tools you need to keep your family healthy, and assist you in explaining the benefits of your choices to family, health care professionals, and others.

Generation Veggie’s Dietitians are uniquely qualified to address nutrition issues relevant to plant-powered families. Both are accomplished in their field and focused on the nutrition of women and children.
